How to finish your Stairs

Anything is possible when finishing your stairs.

Because of their durbility and hardness, any type of finish

can be added, these include, marble, stone, tiles, carpet and wood.

Some Clients opt for a bare concrete finish, this look has become more popular.

A simple skim of plaster will finish the edges and soffit (underside) of the stairs.

The balustrade can be metal spindle, wooden, glass, or we can even 

form a solid concrete balustrade.

Before we construct our stairs, we work closely with the Client/builder

in regard to thickness of finishes to treads/risers.

This is critical in setting out stair formwork in the right position.
